Job Description
- Plan, develop, and execute business operations for global site payments services.
- Design and develop site payments analytic tools, promote adoption of the tools.
- Develop and deliver site payments training, internally.
- Identify, draft, and deliver new processes and policies related to site payments subject matter expertise.
- Function as subject matter expert for global site payments guidance.
- Support Requests for Information (RFI) and/or Requests for Proposals (RFP) related to site payments.
- Create, support, and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and/or Work Instructions (WI).
- Manage direct reports to support project oversight.
- Ensure adherence to country-specific regulations that affect and impact ability to pay.
- Manage site payments responsibilities and workflows to meet contracted timelines and project deliverables.
- Manage escalations (project team, site, and sponsor) regarding site payments service issues and resolve payment-related findings. Escalate project risks to leadership appropriately.
- Train new hires and mentor study teams on site payments processes, including setting expectations around site payments requirements and deliverables.
- Work directly with Project Leads to address queries from sites and sponsors.
- Assist the finance team with invoices and payments, as needed.
- Perform other necessary duties as may be assigned by supervisor to meet customers’ needs.
Requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Minimum five years of experience in life sciences or clinical research industry is preferred.
- Must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Creative problem-solving skills. Must be self-aware and curious.
- Must be ambitious and able to work collaboratively. A successful candidate will be detail oriented with the ability to communicate with and build relationships.
- Must be flexible, able to manage short deadlines & multiple priorities.
- Must be able to demonstrate good judgment in decision-making and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
